OK, my last post was about history websites, and now I'm going to show some math websites I think are super helpful! I especially love the geometry practice!

Place Value for Journals & Homework Drama

Hello!! 

Hope everyone is doing well! I am counting down the seconds until my fall break/half term holiday starts because I'm exhausted!!

Quick question:  What are your thoughts on homework in upper-grades? At the school I'm at, the Head Teacher (Principal) has set certain days for homework (lots of subjects here remember), and generally they have a week to do it........anyway, I prefer (as well as the other teachers here) to incorporate writing and multiple intelligences and basically just stay away from worksheets. However, the parents have other ideas.

I will leave it at that for now.

I'm so sleepy. Last thing.

I've updated my Place Value for K-2 Journals. I've never updated a document before on TPT, so will the people that already bought it get the updated version for free? This is what I want, so does that happen automatically? If you've bought it in the past, can you let me know if you got the new version please?

Journal ideas and kilts!

Hello!! I hope you're all well. I'm still fighting some illness, but after awhile I guess you just get used to it as the norm and hope it goes away before Christmas : )

I went to my friend's wedding in Inverness, Scotland a couple weeks ago. Inverness was s-t-u-n-n-i-n-g! It was a great weekend away for my husband and I. I didn't realize how deep into work I was. It was a well-needed break and time away.

There's also a few journal ideas from my classroom-hope you enjoy! this is about all I have the energy for........I'm off to bed!!!

Does acupuncture really work??!!

I have not blogged in awhile. I would like to, but these chronic sinus infections make me sooooooo tired. 

I seem to have one every fall (and spring) for about 6-7 weeks. Last year at this time I had sinus infection after sinus infection............and here it is, fall again. Sick again.

Someone suggested I try acupuncture. Has anyone tried this? I think the needles would hurt. But the netti-pot, nasal spray, decongestants, avoiding dairy, etc is not working! I really should see an ear, nose and throat dr, but the health system here is a bit different and I have found it hard to get a referral.

Any tips?
