I love your math journals. Do you have something for reading?
Hi, yes I do math, literacy, and science/social studies journals. Here is a link to a manual I wrote to give tips and ideas for this style of notebooking for K-2 classes: http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/How-to-use-K-2-NotebooksJournals.......let me know if you have any questions: ) I am putting up a short vowel pack for journals later today!
Would love to know what paper you use for your journal. Is the grid paper part of the packet? Do you find the grid helps them line things up better?
Hi Kim,The paper I use for my K-2 math journals is oversize grid paper in a 11 1/2 x nearly 9 in. notebook. This is based on math notebooks from other countries, and helps students write numbers, organize patterns, make arrays, etc. I love it!
